Cara Vasquez, Owner, The Flour Shop Bakery (Highland Village, TX)
Cara opened The Flour Shop Bakery in 2011 after spending 10 years honing her skills as a baker and bakery manager at a Dallas restaurant. She's built a beloved neighborhood bakery known for traditional, from-scratch baking that brings back childhood memories for her customers. Cara approaches her work with heart, taking old-time favorites and making them her own without artificial flavors or mixes.
Shellane Brown, Owner, Woodstone Bakery & Cafe (Trilith, GA)
Shellane is a cake decorator, consultant, and cafe owner with over 18 years of experience in food and beverage. After launching her first bakery at 21, she supported the opening and growth of Gilly Brew Bar, an award-winning concept recognized for reimagining coffee culture. At Woodstone Bakery & Cafe, she and her husband built a coffee program known for its balance of specialty quality and fun, nostalgic flavors. A three-time Food Network champion, she now consults with cafes and bakeries to design profitable, intentional beverage programs.
